What this site records, where it goes, and how to change your mind.

Visit counts. The site counts page views, a few clicks (opening the atlas, an audit, a question) and your cookie choice with Umami, running on our own server in Germany (Hetzner). No cookies are set, no IP address is stored, and browsers that send Do Not Track are not counted. The counts cannot identify you: they are aggregate numbers without personal data, kept as long as the site runs.

Session recordings. Only if you press Accept, the site loads Microsoft Clarity, which sets cookies and records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement to show where the page is hard to use. Clarity is a Microsoft service; data is kept in Microsoft’s Azure cloud and may be transferred to Microsoft in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited). Recordings are kept for 30 days. Your Accept or Decline itself is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, for a year.

No advertising, no selling of data. Frondia itself does not track you across sites; if you accept Clarity, Microsoft may set a cookie that recognises your browser on other sites using Clarity. Fonts and maps are served from this site.

The site runs on a server in Germany (Hetzner). Its web server keeps technical logs, including IP addresses, for a short time to keep it running and secure.

Legal basis. Clarity runs only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time on this page. The anonymous counts and the server logs rest on legitimate interest: running the site and keeping it secure.

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be / autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
